With a refined shape and more length, the ROCKET WING MIDLENGTH offers more stability and glide: it's the ultimate light-wind weapon. It trades thickness for length to gain balance, and its better-distributed volume, especially in the nose, together with a more rounded bottom up front, smooths out take-offs and touchdowns. Compared with the first edition it has less volume per size: the old 5'10 is now equivalent to a 95-litre 6'2.

Technology and construction
- Bamboo Deck Construction: a bamboo layer on the deck only: a construction optimised to make the board as light as possible without losing strength or durability, with a very direct foil feel.
- Breathable Valve: a valve that automatically regulates the board's internal pressure with changes in temperature, air travel, hours in the sun or altitude.
- Twin Tracks: twin foil tracks with 90 mm spacing, one of the market standards: compatible with most foils.
- Foil Drive compatible: no central step in front of the Twin Tracks.

Which one to choose?
- Rocket Wing Midlength Carbon: same shape in carbon, lighter, stiffer and more reactive when pumping.
- Rocket Wing Crossover: shorter: versatile for all conditions.
- Rocket SUP DW: if paddle downwinding is your thing, a dedicated board.
Pair it with: a wing such as the Strike 6 or the Swing V5, a complete Plane Gravity or Plane Eagle X foil, the V-Straps Foilboard and the Wrist Leash.
Frequently asked questions
What's changed from the first Midlength?+
It's longer and thinner, gains glide and balance in light wind and has less volume per size: the old 5'10 (120 L) is now equivalent to a 95 L 6'2.
Is it only for light wind?+
That's where it shines most, but many riders enjoy it in varied conditions because its narrow width stops it feeling cumbersome and makes it easy to carve turns.
Can it be used as a SUP foil board?+
Yes, F-ONE says advanced riders can use it for SUP foiling in waves or on downwind runs with short-period swell, if they're after an agile shape.
Is it compatible with Foil Drive?+
Yes. The central bottom step that used to be in front of the Twin Tracks has been removed, making it Foil Drive compatible.
