SUP FOIL · DOWNWIND · LIGHT-WIND WING

Downwinding starts here

The ROCKET SUP DW is the most accessible board in F-ONE's downwind range, ideal for riders of all levels who want to get into the world of downwind SUP foiling. Its new shape packs more volume into a narrower design: more glide and stability without losing ease of use. It is very stable thanks to its parallel outline and very square rails in the middle section, paddles easily and takes off earlier.

Bamboo Deck Construction · Double-step hull · Twin Tracks · 7'0 to 8'2 · 19.5'' to 22.5'' wide

WHO IT'S FOR

Who it's for

  • Anyone who wants to get started in SUP foil downwinding with a forgiving board.
  • Riders of any level looking for a balance between performance and ease of use.
  • Anyone who wants a board for winging in light wind or for surfing small waves on a foil.
KEY FEATURES

What makes it special

01 Stable and accessible

Parallel outline and very square rails in the middle section: plenty of stability for paddling and taking off.

02 Refined shape: more glide and easier take-offs

Revised nose and bottom for a more forgiving take-off, with a second step near the tail that reduces drag when accelerating and when touching down.

03 Intuitive, comfortable riding

Once on the foil it is stable and easy to pump and turn; the high tail kick lets you pump without burying the tail on each stroke.

04 Controlled front/back balance

The recessed cockpit-style deck, now more pronounced, adds volume front and back and brings you closer to the foil for better board control in flight.

05 Ultralight bamboo construction

A bamboo layer on the deck only: as light as possible without losing strength, with a very direct foil feel.

Where it shines: Downwind in open or coastal waters, light-wind winging and small unbroken waves.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology and construction

  • Bamboo Deck Construction: a bamboo layer on the deck only: a construction optimised to make the board as light as possible without losing strength or durability, with a very direct foil feel.
  • Rail protection: double rail protector and reinforcements along the rails and next to the standing area, against knocks and paddle impacts.
  • Breathable Valve: a valve that automatically regulates the board's internal pressure with changes in temperature, air travel, hours in the sun or altitude.
  • Twin Tracks: double foil tracks with 90 mm spacing, one of the market standards: compatible with most foils.

COMPARE

Which one to choose?

Pair it with: a complete large-area foil such as the Plane Gravity or, if you're after more speed, the Plane Eagle X; if you also use it with a wing, the Strike 6.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Is it good for getting started in downwinding?+

Yes. It's the most accessible in F-ONE's downwind range, designed for riders of all levels who want to give it a try.

Can it be used with a wing?+

Yes. F-ONE points out that it works very well for winging in light wind and that it also surfs small waves: you can take off far out, on unbroken waves, and surf all the way to the shore.

What is the double-step hull for?+

It reduces drag when accelerating at take-off and when the board touches the water, and limits the loss of speed on those touchdowns.

What do I need to go downwinding?+

Physical fitness, suitable safety gear (leash, vest, light or signalling device) and, above all, never going out alone or without proper training. Always plan your finish point.
