Description
Glide without limits
The second version of the EAGLE X keeps the outline everyone recognises and debuts a new profile towards the tips: more glide, more forward projection and more control and stability in every manoeuvre. With an aspect ratio of 12, it is designed for intermediate to advanced riders who want to go further and faster in downwind, with SUP or with a wing.
What's included: the EAGLE X Monobloc front wing (wing and front fuselage in a single piece) and the Monobloc Tail DW stabiliser specified for each size, the one F-ONE recommends for this foil. The mast is sold separately.
EAGLE X wing + DW stabiliser · Aspect ratio 12 · 500 to 1000 cm² · TITAN 2 connection
Who it's for
- SUP or wing downwind riders who want maximum average speed and glide for long runs.
- Intermediate to advanced riders who already link bumps and are looking for a foil that keeps performing at high speed.
- Anyone riding fast, rounded bumps, with light wind and a long period.
What makes it special
01 New profile towards the tips
Less lift at the tips: the foil is more balanced and stable, and gains glide, projection and control without losing low-end range.
02 Aspect ratio 12
A long span to fly over the bumps at high speed, with the surface area concentrated in the centre so it stays manoeuvrable.
03 Glide and efficiency
Every pump turns into forward drive, making long downwind trips more dynamic and less tiring.
04 Huge speed range
High top speed, easy take-offs and a consistently high average speed: it can go very fast and also very slow.
05 Optimised construction
Revised carbon layup for the right balance between stiffness and weight: precise and responsive at high speed.
06 TITAN 2 connection
Greater structural efficiency at the joint with the mast: better glide and a more direct feel.
Where it shines: SUP and wing downwind on fast, long bumps, runs of many kilometres and marginal-wind days when staying on the bump is what matters.

| 600 cm² | DW 136 XS | 85 cm | 12 | 0.93 kg |
| 700 cm² | DW 136 XS | 91.5 cm | 12 | 1.01 kg |
| 800 cm² | DW 136 XS | 98 cm | 12 | 1.12 kg |
| 900 cm² | DW 156 XXS | 104 cm | 12 | 1.23 kg |
| 1000 cm² | DW 156 XXS | 109.5 cm | 12 | 1.33 kg |
*Weight of the Monobloc front wing. The Monobloc Tail DW stabiliser weighs 0.24 kg. Official F-ONE data. At the same rider weight, a smaller size will give you more top speed and a larger one easier take-offs on light days. Check the selector for the sizes available in store.
Technology and construction
- Monobloc front wing: the wing and fuselage are moulded together in a single piece, with no joint between them. Eliminating that joint removes play and parasitic movement, and the feel on the water is more direct and reliable
- Monobloc Tail DW: aspect ratio 9 stabiliser with a long fuselage for more pitch stability and projection; UHM carbon and a slight dihedral that improves turning
- TITAN 2 connection: revised design of the joint between mast and foil, more efficient, stiff and reliable at the most stressed point of the setup
- UHM (Ultra High Modulus) carbon: ultra-high-modulus carbon layup: more stiffness, precision and instant response for superior control
- PrePreg carbon: carbon fibre pre-impregnated with epoxy resin by the manufacturer itself, for a more uniform, lighter and stronger layup
- DSD (Dynamic Structural Design): F-ONE adapts the carbon layup to the programme and specific use of each foil, because construction matters as much as shape
Eagle X on the water
Which one to choose?
- Plane Eagle: aspect ratio 9.5, more manoeuvrable and accessible; better on steep bumps and in stronger wind.
- Plane Seven Seas: much more surface area and ease; the step before if you are still learning downwind.
- Plane Eagle X UHM Carbon: the first version of the EAGLE X, with TITAN connection and XS 145 DW stabiliser.
Pair it with: a mast with TITAN 2 connection: HM Carbon Mast 14, UHM Carbon Mast 14, UHM Carbon Mast 12, Carbon Mast 16 or the aluminium Pack Alu Mast Titan 2, and a downwind board such as the Rocket Sup Dw Pro or the Rocket Free Downwind.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does the Plane Eagle X include?+
The EAGLE X Monobloc front wing (with its integrated fuselage) and the Monobloc Tail DW stabiliser: 136 XS in sizes 500 to 800 and 156 XXS in 900 and 1000. It does not include a mast or board.
Which mast do I need?+
Any F-ONE mast with TITAN 2 connection. In carbon, the HM Carbon Mast 14 is the most versatile, the UHM Carbon Mast 14 adds more stiffness (ideal for heavier riders) and the UHM Carbon Mast 12 goes for maximum glide; in aluminium, the Pack Alu Mast Titan 2 is the most affordable and durable option.
What has changed from the first EAGLE X?+
The outline is the same, but the profile towards the tips is new: more glide, more projection and more stability. It also debuts the TITAN 2 connection and a revised carbon layup.
Is it for downwind beginners?+
It's not its territory. F-ONE aims it at intermediate to advanced riders. To get started, the Seven Seas or the Eagle are easier.
