Description
Free to carve in open water
The Plane EAGLE is F-ONE's complete foil for open-water surfing (“ocean surfing”): downwind focused on carving and surfing the bumps as if they were an endless wave. Its aspect ratio of 9.5 gives glide and early take-offs, while the reduced winglets (wingtip fins) and refined tips give it a manoeuvrability that is unusual in a downwind foil.
What's included: the EAGLE Monobloc front wing (wing and front fuselage in a single piece) and the Monobloc Tail Carving stabiliser specified for each size (stabiliser and rear fuselage in one piece). The mast is sold separately.
EAGLE wing + Carving stabiliser · Aspect ratio 9.5 · 690 to 1290 cm² · TITAN 2 connection
Who it's for
- Pocket wing, K-Wing, wing foil or SUP riders who want to downwind while carving and not just in a straight line.
- Anyone looking for an accessible downwind foil, with easy take-offs and a forgiving low end.
- Riders who mainly ride short, steep bumps (more wind, short period), where the EAGLE performs better than the EAGLE X.
What makes it special
01 Built for surfing open water
Designed for surfing open water: linking bumps fluidly, carving and drawing your own lines away from the crowds.
02 Exceptional manoeuvrability
The optimised outline and the reduced winglets (wingtip fins) work on every phase of the turn: from the rail-to-rail transition to pitch stability and the exit of the turn.
03 Projection and acceleration
Its profile captures the energy of the smallest bump and turns it into acceleration, so you keep your speed through the turns without the bump overtaking you.
04 Early, accessible lift
The low end is very forgiving: it takes off early and offers a smooth, confidence-inspiring flight.
05 Versatile across disciplines and conditions
It works for pocket wing, K-Wing, wing freeride and SUP downwind, from relaxed cruising to the most committed sessions.
06 Dynamic Structural Design
New carbon layup that improves control, feel and performance.
07 TITAN 2 connection
Greater structural efficiency at the joint with the mast: better glide and a more direct feel.
Where it shines: open-water downwind on steep or slow bumps, pocket wing and K-Wing, wing freeride and SUP downwind.

| 1290 cm² | Carving 198 XXS | 110.5 cm | 9.5 | 1.68 kg |
*Weight of the Monobloc front wing. The Monobloc Tail Carving stabiliser weighs 0.24 kg (138 and 158 XS) or 0.25 kg (178 and 198 XXS). Official F-ONE data. Small sizes are faster and more manoeuvrable; large ones take off sooner and suit heavier riders or lighter conditions. Check the selector for the sizes available in store.
Technology and construction
- Monobloc front wing: the wing and fuselage are moulded together in a single piece, with no joint between them. Eliminating that joint removes play and parasitic movement, and the feel on the water is more direct and reliable
- Monobloc Tail: the stabiliser and rear fuselage are moulded together in a single piece: fewer screws and more stiffness
- TITAN 2 connection: revised design of the joint between mast and foil, more efficient, stiff and reliable at the most stressed point of the setup
- UHM (Ultra High Modulus) carbon: ultra-high-modulus carbon layup: more stiffness, precision and instant response for superior control
- PrePreg carbon: carbon fibre pre-impregnated with epoxy resin by the manufacturer itself, for a more uniform, lighter and stronger layup
- DSD (Dynamic Structural Design): F-ONE adapts the carbon layup to the programme and specific use of each foil, because construction matters as much as shape
Eagle on the water
Which one to choose?
- Plane Eagle X: higher aspect ratio (12) and more speed; better on fast, rounded bumps, with less wind and a long period.
- Plane Seven Seas: more surface area and even easier; ideal for learning downwind or for very light days.
- Plane SK8: more compact and surf-oriented; for waves, choppy water and wing freeride rather than long downwinds.
Pair it with: a mast with TITAN 2 connection: HM Carbon Mast 14, UHM Carbon Mast 14, UHM Carbon Mast 12, Carbon Mast 16 or the aluminium Pack Alu Mast Titan 2, and a board such as the Rocket Free Downwind, the Rocket Wing - S or the Rocket Sup Dw.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does the Plane Eagle include?+
The EAGLE Monobloc front wing (with its integrated fuselage) and the Monobloc Tail Carving stabiliser in the size shown in the selector: 138 XS for 690 and 790, 158 XS for 890 and 990, 178 XXS for 1090 and 1190, and 198 XXS for 1290. It does not include a mast or board.
Which mast do I need?+
Any F-ONE mast with TITAN 2 connection. In carbon, the HM Carbon Mast 14 is the most versatile, the UHM Carbon Mast 14 adds more stiffness (ideal for heavier riders) and the UHM Carbon Mast 12 goes for maximum glide; in aluminium, the Pack Alu Mast Titan 2 is the most affordable and durable option.
Eagle or Eagle X?+
According to F-ONE, the EAGLE shines on steeper or slower bumps (more wind, short period) and is more manoeuvrable; the EAGLE X works better on fast, rounded bumps (less wind, long period) and prioritises glide and speed.
Is it suitable for learning downwind?+
Yes. It is one of the most accessible downwind foils in the range thanks to its low end and early lift. If you have never done downwind and you are a heavy rider, the Seven Seas is even easier.
