Description
Mid-length to glide earlier and fly in anything
The Midi Pro is North's mid-length board: sleek and designed to be efficient on the water and get up on the foil quickly. Its low-drag progressive V hull and narrow outline accelerate effortlessly, carve turns, link the swells and give confidence in technical manoeuvres. The low entry rocker, curved tail and soft, rounded rails forgive touchdowns, so you can ride lower and link turns without catching or slowing down. Light, it adapts from light wind to choppy water, and works for wingfoil, parawing, downwind and stand-up paddle starts in the larger sizes.
Pro carbon construction · Sizes 5'3" – 6'9" · 50 – 110 L · Board bag included

“The Midi Pro is the perfect one-board quiver. From surfing waves to parawing, it does it all.”
Technology and construction
- Carbon with full PVC wrap: 100% carbon outer shell over a thin layer of high-density closed-cell PVC foam that wraps the whole board and a light EPS core: maximum impact resistance with very little weight.
- Progressive Centre-V hull: the slight V in the hull breaks the water's surface so it releases progressively from the rails to the centre: it gets up on the foil earlier and touchdowns are softer.
- Great fit in the wave: narrower nose and tail so the board feels small and agile.
- Tailored strap positions: centreline, V and offset inserts to customise your stance, with left or right foot forward. Straps not included.
- Intuitive foot position: the concave deck places your feet naturally and acts as a counterweight, so you don't feel the board tilting as much.
- Maximum-traction pad: non-abrasive EVA with tactile and visual stance references, to place your feet quickly and feel the foil directly.
- Compatible with most foils: tracks with standard 90 mm spacing.
- Two-way GORE valve: prevents pressure building up in the EPS core with sudden temperature changes.
- DropBox: the mast (or the Foil Drive) goes in already fitted with screws and nuts in the track; it slides in, is tightened and adjusted to your weight with the position guide next to the track. 165 × 90 mm tracks, compatible with most foils on the market.
- Titanium hardware: corrosion-resistant titanium M8 × 30 mm screws and T-nuts included.
- 2.4 GHz signal window: fibreglass area that lets the remote signal through: the board is Foil Drive ready.
The Midi Pro on the water
Which one to choose?
- Midi 2025: the first Midi, in a less light construction and with other sizes (from 5'0" to 6'4").
- Swell Pro 2027: shorter and more compact, for surfing waves with a wing and jumping.
- Seek Pro 2026: shorter and wider, the most stable wingfoil freeride board for taking off and landing.
Pair it with: the Rover 2026 parawing with its Rover bar, the Nova 2026 wing, the Sonar surfSFv2+ 2027 front wing with the Sonar UHM Carbon Mast and the Free-V Foil Strap Set or Free Foil Strap Set straps.
Frequently asked questions
Which Midi Pro size should I choose?+
North gives an approximate maximum weight per size: up to 70 kg the 5'9", up to 80 kg the 6'0", up to 90 kg the 6'3", up to 100 kg the 6'6" and over 100 kg the 6'9". For parawing, light wind or paddle starts, go for the larger size; if you are already advanced and looking for agility in waves, you can size down.
Does it work for parawing?+
Yes. North designs it for wingfoil, parawing and downwind: its mid-length and V hull help it glide and take off with very little power.
Can you stand-up paddle with it?+
According to North, in the larger sizes you can get up on the foil by stand-up paddling (SUP). The raised edges of the pad protect the board from paddle strikes.
What is included?+
The board with its padded polyester board bag and the titanium DropBox hardware (4 M8 × 30 mm screws and 4 T-nuts). Straps and foil are sold separately.
Why are there two Midi Pro 2027 pages?+
It is the same North board (item 85013.270160). In the shop it is split into two pages by size: Midi Pro 2027 (5'3" and 5'6") and Midi Pro 2027 (from 5'9" to 6'9").
