Description
The most efficient board in North's wingfoil range
The Midi is a streamlined mid-length board, designed to be efficient on the water and get up on the foil quickly. Its low-drag semi-displacement hull and narrow outline let you accelerate effortlessly, carve, link waves and pull off technical manoeuvres with confidence. It works for wingfoil and parawing, downwinding with FoilDrive, prone foil surfing in the small sizes and paddle-up take-offs in the big ones.

“The Midi is perfect for me: it takes off sooner and feels weightless underfoot. I love it in waves with light wind”
Noé Cantaloube, North wingfoil rider
Technology and construction
- Full carbon with PVC sandwich: carbon shell over closed-cell PVC foam on top and bottom: greater impact resistance.
- Semi-displacement hull: a slight V that breaks the water's surface for earlier take-off and soft touchdowns.
- Two-way Gore valve: prevents pressure build-up in the core with temperature changes.
- Non-abrasive maximum-grip pad: with tactile and visual stance references and a raised edge.
- DropBox with hardware included: M8 bolts and T-nuts on the standard 90 mm track.
- Integrated carry handle: recessed under the board, so you can carry it with or without the foil.
Which one to choose?
- Midi Pro 2027: the latest high-performance version.
- Horizon 2024: longer and displacement-hulled, dedicated to downwind runs.
Straps: Free Foil straps or Free-V Foil.
