Description
More height, more control, the same character
The Thrive V2 is the new version of Harlem's three-strut all-round kite: predictable, quick to react and suitable for any level, discipline and conditions. This season it flies faster through the wind window for higher jumps with more hang time, gains stability in strong wind and introduces a fixed 8-point bridle. Designed by Ralf Groesel and Aaron Hadlow and made in Europe.
3 struts · Sizes 5 – 13 m · Wind 12 – 45 knots · Fixed 8-point bridle · Made in Europe
Who it's for
- Riders of any level who want a single kite for freeride, jumping and waves.
- Anyone looking to jump higher and stay in the air longer without giving up a light, manageable kite.
- Riders who ride in gusty or strong wind and want stable, predictable steering.
- Anyone who already knows the Thrive and wants the same feel with a step up in performance.
What makes it special
01 More vertical lift
Under load it flies faster through the wind window and further out of it: more vertical jumps, more hang time and a more pronounced second lift on the way down.
02 More control
Refined steering, with more predictable responses and more stability, especially when the wind picks up.
03 Proven construction
Light yet stiff and tough: PROWELD leading edge, laminated Mylar battens, FlyLite canopy and a new fixed 8-point bridle.
04 Attention to detail
Redesigned trailing edge for longer life and improved bladder construction for greater reliability.
05 Sustainable and customisable
Made at the Brainchild Production plant with sustainable materials and eco-friendly digital printing, which allows it to be fully customised.
Where it shines: everyday freeride, jumps and loops, waves with a directional board and strong, gusty days.

Thrive V2 on the water
Which one to choose?
- Harlem Thrive 2026: the previous version, with the same three-strut concept and sizes up to 17 m. Choose the V2 if you want more height in your jumps and more stability in strong wind; the previous one if you're looking for a specific size in stock.
- Harlem Peak: specialised in big air, with more height and stability when it's blowing hard. Choose the Thrive V2 if you want a lighter, more versatile kite, also for waves.
Pair it with: the Harlem Lead Bar, the Harlem Ascent twintip for jumping and freeride, and the Harlem Sneaker pads and straps.
Frequently asked questions
What size Thrive V2 do I need?+
It depends on your weight, your board and your usual wind. For a 75 kg intermediate rider, Harlem gives the 9 m from 17 to 31 knots and the 12 m from 13 to 23 knots; a two-kite quiver (for example 9 and 12 m) covers most days. Write to us with your weight and where you ride and we'll recommend sizes.
What's changed from the previous Thrive?+
Harlem has aimed for more vertical lift (more height, more hang time and a better second lift), more refined and stable steering in strong wind, a new fixed 8-point bridle, a more durable trailing edge and more reliable bladders. It's still a three-strut kite and keeps the model's all-round character.
Is it good for waves?+
Yes. Harlem presents it for freeride, big air and waves: with three struts it's light with predictable steering, and the V2 version gains stability in strong wind.
How does it differ from the Peak?+
The Thrive V2 is the three-strut all-rounder, lighter and more versatile, also for waves. The Peak is designed specifically for big air: more height and stability in strong wind.
What bar and lines do I need?+
Harlem recommends 22 m lines from the 5 to the 10 m and 24 m lines from the 11 to the 13 m. Its bar is the Harlem Lead Bar.
Can it be customised?+
Yes. Thanks to eco-friendly digital printing, Harlem can customise it with logos or designs. Ask us about lead times and conditions.
