“I love its vertical lift: it lets me go higher and do fast loops. Its huge hangtime lets me float for ages and land all my tricks cleanly.”
Technology and construction
- PROWELD leading edge: bonding technique that greatly reduces leading edge weight and increases the strength, stiffness and stability of the frame.
- Laminated Mylar struts: made in Europe, they make the frame stronger and lighter.
- Twincross Flylite canopy: ultralight fabric made in Europe that improves durability and flight.
- Fixed 7-point bridle: stability and direct, intuitive control in all conditions.
- Curved closing seam: on the wingtips, curved towards the inside of the canopy for more stability and better aerodynamics.
- Future trailing edge: Harlem's exclusive construction that reduces weight, eliminates trailing edge flutter and better resists wear and tears.
- Eco-friendly digital printing: lets you customise the kite without limits.
- Booomtag tag: NFC tag to recover your gear if you lose it, via the Booomtag platform.
The Thrive on the water
Which one to choose?
- Harlem Peak: five struts and specialised in big air: more height and hangtime in strong wind. Choose the Thrive if you want a lighter, more versatile kite, also for waves.
Pair it with: the Harlem Lead Bar, the Harlem Ascent twintip for jumps and freeride, and the Harlem Sneaker pads and straps.
Frequently asked questions
Which Thrive size do I need?+
It depends on your weight, your board and your usual wind. For a 75 kg rider, the official table gives the 9 m from 17 to 31 knots and the 12 m from 13 to 23 knots; a two-kite quiver (for example 9 and 12 m) covers most days. Drop us a line with your weight and riding spot and we'll recommend sizes.
Is it suitable for waves?+
Yes. Harlem presents it for freeride, big air and waves: with three struts it is light, quick to react and has direct steering, and Harlem highlights that it performs in all conditions and disciplines.
How does it differ from the Peak?+
The Thrive is the three-strut all-rounder, lighter and more versatile. The Peak has five struts and is designed for big air: more height and stability in strong wind.
Which bar and lines do I need?+
Harlem recommends 22 m lines from the 5 to the 10 m and 24 m lines from the 11 to the 17 m. Its bar is the Harlem Lead Bar.
Can it be customised?+
Yes. Thanks to eco-friendly digital printing, Harlem can customise it with logos or designs. Ask us about lead times and conditions.
