Description
Stable, intuitive and ready to fly
The ROCKET WING is F-ONE's most versatile wing foil board. Its updated shape gives it huge lateral stability, good balance in flight and quick, easy take-offs. For the same length it has quite a bit more volume than before, so you can choose a smaller board for the same volume or a more stable one for the same length. Built in bamboo, it is tough and very easy to carry.
Bamboo construction · Bevelled rails and double concave · Twin Tracks · 4'4 to 6'2 · 47 to 140 L
Who it's for
- Those starting out in wing foiling who want a stable board for their first flights (sizes 5'10 and 6'2).
- Intermediate riders, or beginners coming from other foil disciplines, who want a versatile board to progress on (sizes 5'0, 5'3 and 5'5).
- Advanced, lightweight or freestyle riders looking for a short, manoeuvrable board for strong wind (sizes 4'4, 4'6 and 4'8).
What makes it special
01 New shape: more balance and easier take-offs
The optimised hull angle improves balance in flight; at low speed the nose doesn't dig in or brake suddenly when it touches the water, and it accelerates quickly to get up and planing.
02 Better-distributed volume for more stability
The domed nose adds volume up front so you can get going from the water calmly, and the recessed deck brings you closer to the foil so you always stay in control.
03 Bevelled rails and double concave
They help you take off effortlessly and recover smoothly when the board touches the water; the pronounced step near the tail reduces friction.
04 Intuitive, with performance
Stable from rail to rail, a smooth transition into flight and very efficient pumping; its short outline makes it manoeuvrable and easy to turn.
Where it shines: Wing foil freeride and progression, from light wind with the big sizes to strong wind and freestyle with the small ones.

*Weight of the board alone. Official F-ONE data. Sizes 5'3 to 6'2 are not designed for jumping. Sizes 4'4 to 4'8 have no bottom handle; the rest do. All include a full deck pad and inserts for three footstraps. If you're torn between two sizes, the bigger one will make take-off easier and the smaller one will give you more manoeuvrability. Technology and construction
- Bamboo Construction: bamboo sheets between layers of fibreglass that form a tough, durable and light shell.
- Bamboo reinforcement: an extra layer of bamboo in the highest-stress areas, especially the deck where you place your feet, for added toughness.
- Twin Tracks: double track with 90 mm spacing, one of the market standards: compatible with most foils.
Rocket Wing on the water
Which one to choose?
- Rocket Wing Carbon: same shape in carbon, lighter and stiffer, designed for freestyle; sizes 4'4 to 5'3.
- Rocket Wing ASC: almost indestructible moulded ASC construction and very high-volume sizes; the easiest for schools and first steps.
- Rocket Wing Crossover: longer and narrower: more glide and versatility if you want a single board for everything, including waves and downwind.
- Rocket Wing-S: wave-oriented, with a round tail and lots of manoeuvrability.
Pair it with: a wing such as the Strike 6 or the Swing V5, a complete Plane Gravity or Plane Eagle X foil, the V-Straps Foilboard and the Wrist Leash.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose?+
According to F-ONE, the 5'10 and 6'2 are ideal for beginners and for heavier riders or light wind; the 5'0, 5'3 and 5'5 are the versatile sizes for intermediate riders; and the 4'4, 4'6 and 4'8 are for advanced, lightweight or freestyle riders in strong wind.
Can I jump with it?+
With the small sizes, yes: they're suited to freestyle. F-ONE states that sizes 5'3 to 6'2 are not designed for jumping.
Is it compatible with my foil?+
It has the Twin Tracks system with 90 mm spacing, compatible with most foils on the market that use a four-screw plate.
Rocket Wing or Rocket Wing Carbon?+
They have the same shape. The carbon one is lighter and stiffer and copes better with the demands of freestyle; the bamboo one is more affordable, durable and perfect for progressing.
