Auto-untwist and 20% stronger
The Navigator Pro is North's top-performance bar. It untwists the centre lines by itself and is now 20% stronger and lighter. Its new rubberised EVA grip offers three times the comfort and holds better in any temperature, even when wet, and the Connect V2 quick release, with one-move reload, reduces the risk of accidentally unhooking or releasing it. For 2027 it adds a fibre-reinforced polymer internal frame, a titanium-coated stainless steel centrepiece that runs more smoothly, and a grip that is red to port and blue to starboard, more resistant to wear and better at keeping its colour. The 1.3 mm Dyneema SK99 Pro rear lines give a direct feel, and the 1.55 mm grey front lines prevent uneven shrinkage.

Which one to choose?
- North Navigator 2027: the same safety and comfort foundation (Connect V2, new grip, 20% stiffer bar) with 1.8 mm SK75 lines and a ceramic bearing for untwisting by hand. Simpler and more affordable.
- North Navigator Pro Short Throw 2027: the same components as the Pro with shortened throw and the trim 10 cm closer: ideal for riders with a small build using kites of 12 m or smaller.
- North Navigator PRO (previous generation): the previous Pro, without the 2027 upgrades (20% stronger internal frame, refined titanium centrepiece and redesigned grip).

Which bar width should I choose?+
According to North, for optimal freeride performance: S (38-43 cm) with kites under 8 m, M (45-50 cm) with kites under 11 m and L (50-55 cm) with kites over 8 m. Each size can be lengthened or shortened by 5 cm.
How does the auto-untwist work?+
The centre lines rotate freely on the centrepiece, so the twists you build up when rotating with the kite undo themselves, without having to turn the bar by hand.
Is it compatible with kites from other brands?+
Yes, with any kite with a Low-V bridle thanks to its Low-V split and equal-length connectors. For High-V kites you need North's High-V Split Kit.
Can I change the loop?+
Yes, without tools: the Connect V2 InterLoop system accepts the freeride loop (included), the freestyle loop (with freestyle safety ring) and the surf slider loop for rope harnesses.
Why are the front lines thicker?+
The 1.55 mm grey front lines and 1.3 mm rear lines are designed so the whole set shrinks evenly with use, while the thin rear lines give a more direct response.
