The Mode Pro is for riders looking for powerful freeride, with more speed, explosive jumps and more hang time. Its stiff, light N-Weave45 frame and Matrix canopy deliver power efficiently with great stability at the top end. For 2026 North has refined the centre strut, the panels and the wingtip seams, and has stiffened the XL-T junction, which together with the UDi carbon leading edge gives an even faster, more direct response.

Technology and construction
- Matrix N-HTRS canopy: high-performance, non-stretch material designed for the loads of the N-Weave45 frame.
- True Form profile: smaller nose radius for more speed and wind range.
- N-Weave45 frame: high-tenacity woven fibre with 45-degree lamination: stiffer, lighter and more efficient.
- UDi carbon: unidirectional carbon tapes along the leading edge to recover shape sooner and pump better.
- ShiftLock system: modular track to fit any handle or boom: 1100 or 950 booms, 500, 400 or 250 handles, or 400 front J handle.
- Ergonomic centre strut: lets you hold the wing by two handles in a more comfortable position, without loading the elbows.

Which Mode Pro size do I need?+
It depends on the wind and your weight. According to North: 2.9 m for over 22 knots, 3.5 m for 18–36, 4.2 m for 16–33, 4.8 m for 13–31, 5.5 m for 9–24 and 6.5 m for 7–21 knots.
Does it include handles?+
No. The ShiftLock handles, J handle or boom are sold separately and can be placed wherever you like on the track.
What's included?+
The wing, wrist leash, Sonar T40 tool, bag, compression strap, repair kit and sand bag.
