Description
Total control on the wave
The SUSHI is F-ONE's foil dedicated to pure surfing: less speed, more rail-to-rail roll and maximum manoeuvrability to stay close to the critical section of the wave and pull off quick, precise manoeuvres. Rail changes are so immediate you can almost control them with your toes, with a feel very close to that of a traditional surfboard.
What's included: the 620 cm² SUSHI UHM Carbon front wing (wing and front fuselage in a single piece) and the Monobloc Tail Carving 123 XS stabiliser. The mast is sold separately.
SUSHI 620 wing + Carving 123 XS stabiliser · Aspect ratio 7.8 · UHM carbon · TITAN 2 connection
Who it's for
- Surf foilers who want to turn tight in the critical section of the wave, with turns back towards the wave and quick changes of direction.
- Steep, short-period waves, where controlling speed matters more than top speed.
- K-Wing, pocket wing or tow foil riders looking for a wave foil with good upwind ability.
What makes it special
01 Maximum roll and manoeuvrability
Rail changes are immediate and natural, so you can turn tight without the need for long bottom turns.
02 Optimised for slow waves
It manages speed effortlessly and stays stable in the whitewater and close to the wave.
03 Exceptional low end
Its high-camber profile delivers constant lift; pumping back to the peak is easy, and upwind riding with a sail is still fast.
04 Versatile
Surf foil, K-Wing, pocket wing or tow foil.
05 Shines in steep waves
Its playground is steep waves and short periods.
06 Slightly rearward feel
It is steered slightly more off the back foot to get as close as possible to the original surf feeling.
Where it shines: surf foil in steep, short-period waves, K-Wing and pocket wing in waves, and tow foil.

Official F-ONE data. The SUSHI comes in 620, 680, 740, 820, 920 and 1020 cm²: the smaller sizes are faster and more radical, the larger ones take off earlier and work better in small waves or with heavier riders. If you're torn between two, ask us.
Technology and construction
- Monobloc front wing: the wing and fuselage are moulded together as a single piece, with no joint between them. Eliminating that joint removes play and unwanted movement, and the feel on the water is more direct and reliable
- Monobloc Tail Carving: HM carbon stabiliser moulded with the rear fuselage: fast pumping, constant lift and lively turns
- TITAN 2 connection: revised design of the mast-to-foil joint, more efficient, stiffer and more reliable at the most stressed point of the whole setup
- UHM (Ultra High Modulus) carbon: ultra-high-modulus carbon laminate: more stiffness, precision and instant response for superior control
- PrePreg carbon: carbon fibre pre-impregnated with epoxy resin by the manufacturer itself, for a more uniform, lighter and stronger laminate
- DSD (Dynamic Structural Design): F-ONE tailors the carbon laminate to the programme and specific use of each foil, because construction matters as much as shape
Sushi on the water
Which one to choose?
- Plane Sushi 680: larger: more lift and easier take-offs.
- Plane Sushi 740: larger: more lift and easier take-offs.
- Plane SK8: more speed and versatility, also for wing; the Sushi complements it in steep waves.
Pair it with: a mast with TITAN 2 connection: HM Carbon Mast 14, UHM Carbon Mast 14, UHM Carbon Mast 12, Carbon Mast 16 or the aluminium Pack Alu Mast Titan 2, and a board such as the Rocket Surf, the Rocket Free Surf or the Rocket Wing - S.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does the Plane Sushi 620 include?+
The 620 cm² SUSHI UHM Carbon front wing with its integrated fuselage and the Monobloc Tail Carving 123 XS stabiliser. Mast and board are not included.
Which mast do I need?+
Any F-ONE mast with TITAN 2 connection. In carbon, the HM Carbon Mast 14 is the most versatile, the UHM Carbon Mast 14 adds stiffness (ideal for heavy riders) and the UHM Carbon Mast 12 is aimed at maximum glide; in aluminium, the Pack Alu Mast Titan 2 is the most affordable and toughest option.
Sushi or SK8?+
The Sushi has a little less speed and more rail-to-rail roll, and it is the clear choice in steep, short-period waves when you prioritise control and turning. The SK8 is faster and more versatile.
Is it suitable for wing foiling?+
Yes, especially for free-flying in waves with a wing or K-Wing, and with a pocket wing it goes upwind quickly. For freeride winging on flat water, the SK8 is more suitable.
