Description
Does it all well
According to F-ONE, the PHANTOM is the essential all-round wing in its range: with an aspect ratio of 6.0, it is designed for riders who already have some experience and want a foil that does everything well. Its medium span delivers performance, manoeuvrability for surfing and efficient pumping. This is the carbon version, with the same shape and the same programme as the Phantom FCT but slightly stiffer.

Combinations of the Plane Phantom Carbon in our shop. This version no longer has a page on the F-ONE website, so we only publish the confirmed data; ask us for span and weight if you need them. The smaller sizes are faster and more surfy; the larger ones take off sooner and work better in light wind or for heavier riders. Check the selector for the sizes available in store.
Technology and construction
- Carbon: F-ONE's carbon wings are made from pre-preg carbon, very strong and stiff.
- Same shape as the FCT: according to F-ONE, the Phantom Carbon and the Phantom FCT share shape and programme; the FCT version has slightly more flex.
- Medium span: a balance between manoeuvrability for surfing, efficient pumping and stability.
Which one to choose?
- Gravity FCT: aspect ratio 5.0: the step before, for learning, with more lift and stability.
- Seven Seas: aspect ratio 8.0: the next step to gain glide and get started in downwind.
- SK8: aspect ratio 8.0: faster and more surfy for carving waves with a wing or in surf foil.
Pair it with: the Stab C275 Surf stabilisers (the one for sizes 1280 to 1780 on the Plane Phantom Carbon) or Stab R275 Surf, and the Monobloc Tail in its XXS 200 Carving version for the 980. If you're unsure which fuselage or mast you need, ask us.
