Description

BEGINNER · WING FOIL

Take off easily and progress

GRAVITY wings are designed to give solid lift with an easy, progressive take-off. True to its best-selling carbon sister, the GRAVITY FCT is the ideal wing for getting started and progressing with confidence: it generates lift at low and even very low speed, but smoothly so you keep your balance without any scares.

Aspect ratio 5.0 · 1800 and 2200 cm² · FCT construction · For F-ONE aluminium mast

WHO IT'S FOR

Who it's for

  • Anyone who wants to discover foiling and progress steadily, in wing foil or other disciplines.
  • Riders in the learning phase who need a tough wing that can take the typical mistakes of the first days.
  • Schools and heavier riders looking for plenty of lift and stability.
KEY FEATURES

What makes it special

01 Aspect ratio 5.0

Plenty of area to take off early, with just the right aspect ratio to keep a decent speed range and avoid unnecessary drag.

02 Accessible, forgiving and reliable

Its generous span makes it very intuitive, and its durable materials can take learning mistakes.

03 Smooth, early take-off

Lift at very low speed, delivered progressively so you can keep your balance easily.

04 Stability and lift

A large area that gives early take-offs and very stable flight.

05 Good speed control

It handles low speeds well and, thanks to the arc curvature, profile and tips, it stays manoeuvrable.

Where it shines: learning and progressing in wing foil, light wind, schools and heavier riders.

*Wing weight according to F-ONE. F-ONE publishes the data for the GRAVITY FCT 1800; the 2200 cm² size doesn’t appear on its current sheet, so ask us if you need its data. Aspect ratio relates span to area: the higher it is, the more glide and speed; the lower, the more lift, stability and turning. Check the selector for the sizes available in store.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology and construction

  • Fuselage Connection: the aluminium mast attaches directly to the fuselage with two screws: a simple, proven joint that’s reliable, stiff and quick to assemble.
  • Fusion Link: connection between the fuselage and the FCT wing via a large solid plate at the front of the fuselage.
  • Foil Compression Technology (FCT): F-ONE innovation in fibreglass around a high-density foam core, with a thin, tough protective skin; ideal for foils subjected to high load and flex.

COMPARE

Which one to choose?

  • Phantom Carbon: aspect ratio 6.0: the next step once you’re flying, more versatile for surf, pumping and wing.
  • Seven Seas: aspect ratio 8.0 in carbon: more glide and speed range for progressing and getting started in downwind.
  • Gravity FCT 1800: the 1800 cm² size on its own page.

Pair it with: an F-ONE aluminium mast such as the Pack Alu Mast (mast and top plate for Twin-Tracks), and as a stabiliser the Stab R275 Surf or, for more turning in waves, the Stab C300 Surf, which F-ONE presents as an upgrade for a surf Gravity.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

1800 or 2200?+

The 2200 has more area: more lift at low speed, ideal for heavier riders or very light wind. The 1800 is a little more agile. If in doubt, tell us your weight and level.

What is FCT construction?+

Foil Compression Technology: fibreglass around a high-density foam core, with a thin, tough protective skin. It’s very durable and takes knocks; F-ONE says the difference on the water compared with a carbon wing is barely noticeable.

Which mast do I need?+

An F-ONE aluminium mast in the length you prefer: the FCT range fuselage screws directly to the mast with two screws. For learning, a short mast gives softer falls and more sense of stability.

When should I move to another wing?+

Once you’re flying confidently and want more speed and turning, the next step in the F-ONE range is the Phantom and, after that, the Seven Seas.
