Description
Easy take-off and progression
The GRAVITY wings are designed to deliver solid lift with an easy, progressive take-off. True to its best-selling carbon sister, the GRAVITY FCT is the ideal wing for learning and progressing with confidence: it generates lift at low and even very low speed, but smoothly so you keep your balance without any scares. This page covers the 1800 cm² size.
Size 1800 cm² · Aspect ratio 5.0 · Span 95 cm · 1.7 kg · FCT construction
Who it's for
- Anyone who wants to discover foiling and progress steadily, in wing foil or other disciplines.
- Riders in the learning stage who need a tough wing that can handle the typical mistakes of the first days.
- Schools and heavier riders looking for plenty of lift and stability.
What makes it special
01 Aspect ratio 5.0
Plenty of surface area to take off early, with just the right aspect ratio to keep a decent speed range and avoid unnecessary drag.
02 Accessible, forgiving and reliable
Its generous span makes it very intuitive, and its durable materials stand up to learning mistakes.
03 Smooth, early take-off
Lift at very low speed, delivered progressively so you can keep your balance easily.
04 Stability and lift
A large surface area that gives early take-offs and a very stable flight.
05 Good speed control
It handles low speeds well and, thanks to the arc curvature, the profile and the tips, it stays manoeuvrable.
Where it shines: learning and progressing in wing foil, light wind, schools and heavier riders.

*Wing weight according to F-ONE. Official F-ONE data for the GRAVITY FCT 1800. The aspect ratio relates span to surface area: the higher it is, the more glide and speed; the lower it is, the more lift, stability and turning. We also have the Fw Gravity FCT page with the 2200 cm² size.
Technology and construction
- Fuselage Connection: the aluminium mast attaches directly to the fuselage with two screws: a simple, proven connection that is reliable, stiff and quick to assemble.
- Fusion Link: connection between the fuselage and the FCT wing via a large solid plate at the front of the fuselage.
- Foil Compression Technology (FCT): F-ONE's innovation in fibreglass around a high-density foam core, with a thin, tough protective skin; ideal for foils subjected to high load and flex.
Gravity FCT on the water
Which one to choose?
- Phantom Carbon: aspect ratio 6.0: the next step once you're flying, more versatile for surf, pumping and wing.
- Seven Seas: aspect ratio 8.0 in carbon: more glide and speed range to progress and get started in downwind.
- Gravity FCT (1800 and 2200): the same wing with the 2200 cm² option for more lift.
Pair it with: an F-ONE aluminium mast such as the Pack Alu Mast (mast and top plate for Twin-Tracks), and as a stabiliser the Stab R275 Surf or, for more turning in waves, the Stab C300 Surf, which F-ONE presents as an upgrade for a surf Gravity.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the 1800 size for?+
For getting started in wing foil or any foil discipline with a very stable wing that lifts at very low speed. If you're heavy or your wind is very light, ask us about the 2200 cm².
What is FCT construction?+
Foil Compression Technology: fibreglass around a high-density foam core, with a thin, tough protective skin. It's very durable and takes knocks; F-ONE says the difference on the water compared with a carbon wing is barely noticeable.
Which mast do I need?+
An F-ONE aluminium mast in the length you prefer: the fuselage of the FCT range screws directly to the mast with two screws. For learning, a short mast gives softer falls and more of a sense of stability.
When should I move on to another wing?+
Once you're flying comfortably and want more speed and turning, the next step in the F-ONE range is the Phantom and, after that, the Seven Seas.
