Description

LIGHT WIND · KITEFOIL · FREERIDE

One strut, a thousand possibilities

The BREEZE TEC is designed to make riding in light wind easier, more intuitive and more fun than ever. Light and very easy to fly, it keeps the versatility of the Breeze and adds materials and technical upgrades for more control and comfort. Its new DLE 140 inflatable frame increases strength without losing the lightness and smooth flight that define it, and lets you focus on riding instead of on the kite.

WHO IT'S FOR

Who it's for

  • Kitefoil riders looking for a light kite that keeps flying when the wind drops.
  • Anyone who wants to add more freeride days in light wind.
  • Schools and progressing riders who need an accessible, progressive and forgiving kite.
KEY FEATURES

What makes it special

01 Versatility and a wide wind range

Fits schools, kitefoil and freeride with the same kite.

02 Unbeatable light-wind performance

Intuitive, playful, reactive and stable even when the wind is minimal.

03 Efficient starts

Delivers more power at the low end of the range and through turns, so getting out of the water takes less effort.

04 More direct, progressive turning

The new distribution of leading edge diameter makes the kite turn in a more direct and progressive way.

05 Easier relaunch

The rounded wingtips make relaunching, reverse relaunch included, smoother and more intuitive in marginal conditions.

06 Better bar feel

More precise control and smooth power modulation thanks to the fine-tuned profile and bridles.

07 New DLE 140 frame

More strength and durability while keeping the lightness and smoothness in flight.

Where it shines: Light-wind kitefoil and freeride, schools and any session where the wind is marginal; the small sizes extend its use to windier days.

*Weight of the kite only. Official F-ONE data. F-ONE does not clearly specify the bar size for each size of this kite: ask us and we will recommend the right one. If you are between two sizes, the smaller one will give you more control in gusts and the larger one more power in marginal wind; you'll find more help in our guide to choosing your kite size. Check the selector for the sizes and colours available in store.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology and construction

  • 1 strut: with a single strut the frame is very light, so the kite stays in the air when the wind drops and responds efficiently in marginal conditions.
  • DLE 140: new material for the inflatable frame, stronger and more durable.
  • Delta C Shape: F-ONE's patented design that maximises the aerodynamic performance and depower of the canopy.
  • Medium aspect ratio: a balance between stability, response and manoeuvrability.
  • Staggered seams: the trailing edge panels reduce deformation and keep a clean profile over time.
  • Canopy engineering: panel layout and fabrics designed so the canopy does not deform under load.
  • F-ONE pulleys: exclusive and moulded in a single piece, highly resistant to ageing and abrasion.
  • Automatic relaunch: the kite comes out of the water quickly and with just the right pull.
  • Reactor valve: high-flow connection that locks by twisting the hose; super-fast inflation and deflation.

COMPARE

Which one to choose?

  • Bandit Brainchild: three struts and more all-round for jumping and riding in medium and strong wind; the Breeze wins in light wind and for kitefoil.
  • Target: ram-air foil kite, with no struts and no inflation, with fast turning and great upwind ability for freeride and jumping.
  • Addikt TEC: waves and strapless specialist, for when the wind is on your side.

Pair it with: the Pocket or Pocket Carbon kitefoil board, the Atom Bar, the Big One twintip for light wind and the Max Flow Pump.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Is it good for kitefoil?+

Yes. F-ONE specifically recommends it for kitefoil: it is light, settles in the window by itself with constant pull and makes upwind tacks easier.

Is it suitable for schools and for learning?+

Yes. It is accessible, progressive and forgiving, and the relaunch with rounded wingtips helps a lot when the wind is marginal.

What does a single strut bring?+

Less weight in the frame. The kite keeps flying when the wind drops and responds better in marginal conditions.

What changes in this TEC version?+

The DLE 140 inflatable frame, stronger and more durable, a leading edge with redistributed diameter for better turning, rounded wingtips for relaunching and a revised profile with more power at the low end of the range.
