Who it's for
- Riders who want to ride on light-wind days with an easy twintip.
- Beginners looking for a stable board that planes early.
- Heavier or larger riders who need more surface area.
What makes it special
01 Incredible light-wind performance
Its extra length and width allow very early starts even at low speed, so you can focus on the kite while the board supports you.
02 Fantastic stability and grip
The large surface area and fins offset to grip more when edging give a very stable ride and make going upwind easier.
03 Very easy control, an on-rails feeling
Parabolic outline, rounded tips and a deep double concave that keeps the board on its line.
Where it shines: light-wind days, flat or slightly choppy water, learning and relaxed freeride.
Sizes and weight
| SIZE (CM) | FINS | BOARD WEIGHT* |
|---|---|---|
| 160 x 45 | 4x Unibox 50 mm | 3.6 kg |
| 164 x 48 | 4x Unibox 50 mm | 4.1 kg |
*Approximate weight; it may vary slightly due to the manufacturing process. Official data from F-ONE, which doesn't publish rider weight ranges for this model. The 164 x 48 gives even more surface area for heavy riders or the lightest wind. Check the selector for the sizes available in store.
Technology and construction
- Paulownia wood core: the wood is the heart of the board and gives it its mechanical properties: strength, flex and the ability to recover its shape.
- Unibox fins: the patented UNIBOX system combines a thin, asymmetric fin profile with controlled flex that improves early planing, grip and comfort.
- 3D deck structure: the flex is tuned both through the materials and through the shape of the board.
- Moderate flex: the board gives a little under load: more comfortable, more manageable and less physical.
- Extra rocker and kicked-up tips: they help you get through choppy water when needed.
- Deep double concave: a good planing feel and a smooth ride in all conditions.
Big One on the water
Which one to choose?
- One: F-ONE's beginner and freeride twintip in sizes from 138 to 150 cm; more manageable once there's a bit more wind.
- Spark: a Big Air twintip for when you want to jump seriously in strong wind.
Pair it with: the Platinium 3 + handle bindings, an easy kite with good range such as the Bandit Brainchild or the Breeze TEC for low-wind days, and the Atom Bar.
Frequently asked questions
Is it good for learning?+
Yes. F-ONE recommends it for beginners: it planes very early, it's very stable and it's easy to control.
Which size should I choose?+
The 160 x 45 already offers plenty of surface area for light wind; the 164 x 48 is for heavier riders or for stretching the lower wind limit even further.
Does it work on normal-wind days?+
It works, but it's designed for light wind. With more wind, a smaller board like the One will be more comfortable and manageable.
Which fins does it come with?+
Four 50 mm UNIBOX fins, with a thinner profile that improves speed and glide.
