Top-of-the-range pumping and glide

The Glide 3.0 D/LAB is Duotone's most advanced high-aspect wing. It inherits the stall-tolerant profile of the Crest D/LAB to take off with very little energy and pump with less fatigue, raises the aspect ratio to around 12 and introduces a moustache-shaped curvature with raised tips that makes it much looser than the Glide 2.0. With the 3BS+ connection and its fourth screw it gains pitch stability across the whole speed range.

WHO IT'S FOR

Who it's for

  • Downwind riders (downwind runs linking waves) and parawing riders who want maximum glide.
  • Advanced prone and wingfoil riders who pump to link bumps and want a wing that doesn't slow down in turns.
  • Anyone looking for Duotone's lightest, stiffest high-aspect gear.
KEY FEATURES

What makes it special

01 Maximum glide efficiency

The aspect ratio of around 12 improves the lift-to-drag ratio, lengthens glides, reduces effort and lets you go down a size compared with the Glide 2.0.

02 New profile

The Crest-inspired profile lifts very well, makes pumping easier and is less tiring on long sessions.

03 Optimised high aspect

Combines efficient pumping and long glide with surprisingly agile, dynamic handling.

04 Playful turning

The new moustache-shaped curvature frees up roll and greatly improves manoeuvrability compared with the previous generation.

05 Pitch stability

The 3BS+ connection with a fourth screw increases stability and control across the whole speed range.

06 Control when breaching

The raised tips let the tip come out of the water and recover without breaking the flow.

Where it shines: downwind and parawing, prone pumping between waves, wingfoiling on light days and long runs even on flat water.

Data from Duotone's official spec sheet. 3BS+ connection compatible with the fourth screw (M6×32 TX30), which comes with the tail. Aspect ratio = ratio between span and chord. Duotone states that you can use one size smaller than with the Glide 2.0. Check the selector for the sizes available in store.

“The glide is incredible and, with so little drag, it holds its speed through every turn. Pumping takes no effort at all: I link bumps easily and glide huge distances even on flat water.”

TECHNOLOGY

Technology and construction

  • HM/IM pre-preg carbon (D/LAB): a blend of high-modulus and intermediate-modulus carbon fibres that maximises stiffness, efficiency and response.
  • 3BS+ system with fourth screw: more pitch stability and control across the whole speed range.
  • Increased aspect ratio (around 12): better pumping and glide with agile, dynamic handling.
  • Crest-inspired profile: easy lift at low speed, efficient pumping and less fatigue on long sessions.
  • Moustache-shaped curvature with raised tips: a loose, playful feel, better turning and control when breaching.
  • Optimised chord distribution: more efficiency when pumping and longer glides.
  • Compatibility: works with all D/LAB tails, the H, S and PX stabilisers and the new Monobloc Tails.

COMPARE

Which one to choose?

  • Glide 3.0 SLS 2027: the same design in SLS carbon with mounting for AL 3BS fuselages and bigger sizes (up to 1400); more affordable.
  • Crest D/LAB 2026: medium aspect: more agile and playful in waves, less glide on long runs.
  • Glide 2.0 D/LAB: the previous generation, still available; lower aspect ratio and a less loose turn.

Pair it with: the Monobloc Tail H D/LAB 2027 for downwind and parawing or the Monobloc Tail PX D/LAB 2027 for wingfoil, and a 3BS+ compatible mast such as the Mast SLS 2.0 2027 or the Mast Slim 2.0 D/LAB 2026.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Which tail do I need?+

The D/LAB wing attaches directly to a D/LAB tail or Monobloc Tail. Duotone recommends the Monobloc PX 145 (600 to 825) or PX 160 (950 and 1100) for wingfoil and Foil Assist, and the Monobloc H 130 (600 to 825) or H 150 (950 and 1100) for prone, parawing and downwind.

What is the 3BS+ fourth screw?+

An extra M6×32 TX30 screw that joins the wing to the mast and increases pitch stability. It comes with the compatible tail; the wing doesn't include screws.

What's changed compared with the Glide 2.0 D/LAB?+

A higher aspect ratio, the Crest profile for pumping with less effort, upturned tips for a looser turn and the 3BS+ connection. You can go down a size.

SLS or D/LAB?+

The D/LAB is lighter and stiffer and has the 3BS+ connection; the SLS mounts on AL 3BS fuselages, is more affordable and comes in 1250 and 1400 sizes.
