Duotone Click Bar Quad Control 2021
It's worth pointing out that the Duotone Click Bar Quad Control 2021 is very similar to the previous year's model: the mechanics and everything around them are quite similar to last year's model.
This is one of the best kite bars on the market. Since its creation, this model has revolutionised the way kites are controlled, incorporating the best technology in the sport year after year.
This year the Click Bar 2021 comes with Robline FLITE99 lines. Further down we tell you the advantages of using this type of line.
The Click Bar is available in a narrow version, just 42 cm wide with a line length of 20 m plus 2 m of extensions, but there is also the Click Bar M model, which offers 22 m of line length plus 2 m of extensions (with a width of 49 cm).
In addition, four different chicken loop options are available to ensure maximum performance and a tailored set-up.
Differences between the Duotone Click Bar 2021 and the Duotone Click Bar 2020
There's one main reason why we say they're similar and not the same. The main difference between the Click Bar 2021 and the Click Bar 2020 is the lines. Visually they're very different from the old ones. The lines are also stronger.
This year, 2021, Duotone's new kitesurf bar stands out for its more muted colours compared with the previous model. Black and white are the two colours we see on the new bar, sharing the spotlight equally.
The 2021 model also differs in having improved grip pads.
DUOTONE FLITE99 | The new lines of the Duotone Click Bar 2021
Flite99 is the name of the new lines on the Duotone bar. They improve the connection between the kitesurfer and the kite, and improve the feeling of control in your hands.
Why are these lines the main feature of the Click Bar 2021?
Because, as you well know, lines are crucial for safety in this sport, kitesurfing. Lines often hold our lives in their "hands". They therefore have to be safe and strong, two adjectives that perfectly describe the new FLITE99 lines. Here are four tips to help you with the maintenance of your kitesurf bar and make it last longer.
FLITE99 benefits from Dyneema SK 99 material. The back lines are turquoise and the front lines are grey, so they can be told apart clearly. Their strength has been increased by 12% and they show 15% less stretch compared with lines from previous years' models.
FLITE99 lines have a 6.5% smaller area exposed to the wind thanks to their smaller diameter. Which makes them faster!
These Dyneema lines also benefit from a new, even more durable coating.
Last but not least, FLITE99 features monofilament, a unique material that prevents sagging and knots in the lines. This also helps stop the lines from wearing and, in the worst case, breaking.

ISO 21853 safety standard
The GKA (Global Kitesports Association) has reached a new milestone for kitesurfing safety: the ISO 21853 standard for quick release systems.
Since 2014 the GKA, supported by a group of engineers, has worked on creating and regulating safety systems in kitesurfing.
Compliance with the ISO 21853 standard makes the Duotone Click Bar one of the safest kite bars on the market, meeting this safety standard to the letter.
Safety systems that comply with this standard are engraved with the official ISO standard number, a label found on the new 2020 and 2021 Duotone kitesurf bars.
Choosing kitesurf gear that meets this standard is therefore vitally important for riding safely and with peace of mind
