Frame construction with ALUULA
The Duotone Juice D/Lab benefits from ALUULA's ultra-light structure. ALUULA Gold, used in the kite's frame, is an ultra-strong composite material that is completely new to the market. Very few kites are built with ALUULA, and the Juice D/Lab is one of them.
As a result, thanks to this innovative material, Duotone has achieved a kite that is highly resistant to tearing and stretching. In addition, a weight reduction of up to 1 kg can be achieved depending on the kite size.
The greater tear resistance of Duotone's materials is achieved thanks to the structural stiffness of the ALUULA Gold laminate. This material also offers a very notable advantage: the combination of allowing very little stretch in the vertical and horizontal directions, and enormous biaxial elongation. That's the reason a kite made with Aluula (Duotone Juice D/Lab) turns so well.
