North screw pack B for joining the Sonar fuselage to the Sonar AF or CF mast. This is the pack for fuselages with straight (non-countersunk) holes.

- Includes 2 M8x35 Torx T40 cylinder-head screws and 2 M8 flat washers.
Compatibility
- Sonar A600 and A700 aluminium fuselages with a Sonar AF or CF mast.
- Pre-2024 Sonar carbon fuselages (C600 and C700) with straight holes, with an AF or CF mast.
- If your carbon fuselage has conical countersunk holes, you need the B2 pack. To fit an HM mast to a fuselage with straight holes, the B3 pack.
- Masts in store: Sonar AF and Sonar CF.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my fuselage has countersunk holes?
The most recent carbon fuselages have conical holes (like those for the front wing) in which the screw head sits flush: they take the B2 pack. Aluminium fuselages and pre-2024 carbon ones have straight holes: B pack with a CF or AF mast, and B3 pack with an HM mast.
Can I tighten them with an electric screwdriver?
No. North warns against using power tools (torque isn't controlled) and says over-tightening can damage the foil and void the warranty. Use the marine grease that comes with the foil when assembling it.
