Frequently asked questions
What does 5/4 mm mean?
The first number is the neoprene thickness on the torso (5 mm) and the second on the arms and legs (4 mm): more thickness where you need warmth and less where you need to move.
Why a back zip?
It's the easiest, most convenient entry for putting the wetsuit on and taking it off.
What water temperature is it for?
Mystic doesn't state a specific temperature. As a general guide, a 5/4 mm full wetsuit works well in water of around 8 to 13 °C, although it depends a lot on the wind and how much you feel the cold. Our guide to choosing a wetsuit has the full explanation.
Can I buy it even if I don't run a school?
Of course. It's a simple, durable wetsuit, a good option for anyone looking for a practical wetsuit for frequent use.
