Description

The Mystic Lunar Longarm Shorty 2/2mm Bzip is a women's 2/2 mm long-sleeve shorty with a back zip. When the days get longer and the water warms up, swapping your fullsuit for a shorty is one of the best things there is. The Lunar comes with an improved fit and design, a short cut and non-slip cuffs that keep the sleeves in place in the water. Also available with a front zip.

Who it's for

  • Riders who go out in summer or in warm water.
  • Anyone looking for freedom of movement with a touch of warmth.
  • Summer sessions and mild or warm water.

Features

  • 2/2 mm thickness.
  • Tape at seam crossings: inner reinforcement at the points where the seams cross, which is where water usually gets in first.
  • Back zip: the most comfortable entry for putting the suit on and taking it off.
  • MX2 neoprene: Mystic's essential stretch neoprene.
  • XTR lining: stretchy, hard-wearing fabric.
  • Flatlock seams: panels slightly overlapped and sewn with a wide stitch; a very strong join, designed for mild water.

Frequently asked questions

What does 2/2 mm mean?

That the neoprene is 2 mm throughout the suit: light warmth with maximum freedom of movement.

Why a back zip?

It is the easiest and most comfortable entry for putting the suit on and taking it off.

What water temperature is it for?

Mystic does not state a specific temperature. As a general guide, a 2/2 mm long-sleeve shorty works well in warm water, from about 20 °C, although it depends a lot on the wind and on how much you feel the cold. Our wetsuit buying guide has the full explanation.
