Description
The Mystic Gem Fullsuit 5/4mm Double Fzip is a women's 5/4 mm full suit with a double front zip. Made for the harshest, coldest conditions: Yamamoto 39, very stretchy and insulating, and a higher-pile Flaremesh+ lining that also dries much faster, ready for the next session. The hoodless version lets you wear a separate hood and take it off when temperatures rise.
Who it's for
- Riders who go out in the coldest conditions.
- Anyone looking for premium materials and fast drying.
- Winter and cold-water sessions.
Features
- 5/4 mm thickness: 5 mm on the torso and 4 mm on the arms and legs.
- Waterproof elastic tape on 100% of the seams: all seams sealed on the inside.
- GBS seams (glued and blind-stitched): the needle doesn't go through the neoprene, so the seam is watertight and warmer.
- Wind Mesh chest panel: smooth-skin neoprene that blocks the wind and reduces cooling.
- Wind Mesh back panel: smooth-skin neoprene that blocks the wind and reduces cooling.
- YKK double front zip: chest entry, leaving the back free for more stretch and a better seal.
- Aquabarrier: inner barrier at the entry that slows water ingress.
- Hex-tech knee pads: 4-way stretch and abrasion-resistant.
- Velcro ankle straps (included): adjust the leg hem.
- Non-slip cuffs: stay in place and limit water entry.
- Heat-sealed cuff edges: more watertight and durable.
- Key pocket 2.0: loop with mini buckle.
- Aquaflush 2.0: Mystic's system to hold back cold water and drain the water that gets into the suit.
- Yamamoto 39 neoprene: one of the most premium neoprenes, very stretchy, light and insulating.
- Super-stretch embossed neoprene.
- Flaremesh lining on the chest, back and lower body: more pile for warmth and fast drying.
- Fox Fleece lining on the remaining panels.

Frequently asked questions
What does 5/4 mm mean?
The first number is the neoprene thickness on the torso (5 mm) and the second on the arms and legs (4 mm): more thickness where you need warmth and less where you need to move.
What's the advantage of the double front zip?
Chest entry leaves the back free, so the suit stretches more across the shoulders and back and seals the neck better; the double zip makes it easier to put on and take off.
What water temperature is it for?
Mystic doesn't give a specific temperature. As a general guide, a 5/4 mm full suit works well in water of around 8 to 13 °C, although it depends a lot on the wind and how much you feel the cold. Our wetsuit guide has the full explanation.
