Description
Pump and keep on flying
The JAM HM Carbon is the previous generation of F-ONE's dock start and pump foil wing, in high-modulus carbon. Its large surface area and high aspect ratio give it an extremely long glide, early take-offs and great efficiency at low speed, with tips designed to make riding and turning fun too.
Previous generation of the Jam · 1400, 1600 and 1900 cm² · HM carbon
Who it's for
- Pump foil and dock start riders, from those just starting out to those who want long pumping sessions.
- Wing foil and SUP foil in light wind and marginal conditions.
- Anyone who already has F-ONE gear from this generation.
What makes it special
01 Made for dock start and pump
It takes off with very few pumps and keeps gliding even if you stop pumping for a few seconds.
02 Very long glide
High aspect ratio and a profile that reduces induced drag.
03 Effective at low speed
Very efficient at slow speeds for wing and downwind in marginal conditions, and able to accelerate when needed.
04 High-modulus carbon
HM carbon construction, stiff and precise.
Where it shines: pump foil and dock start, wing and SUP in light wind, and micro waves.
Sizes
| SIZE | RECOMMENDED USE |
|---|---|
| 1400 cm² | Experienced dock start, wing in light wind, micro waves |
| 1600 cm² | Wing or SUP in marginal conditions, learning SUP downwind |
| 1900 cm² | Dock start, pumping on flat water, heavier riders |
Uses based on F-ONE's description of the JAM range. This generation no longer has a page on F-ONE's website, so we don't publish span or weight; ask us if you need them. The current version, with TITAN 2 connection and full data, is the Jam. Check the selector for the sizes available in store.
Technology and construction
- HM (High Modulus) carbon: high-modulus Toray M40J fibre, 1.5 times stiffer than the conventional carbon of other constructions.
- Pre-preg carbon: carbon laminate pre-impregnated with epoxy resin, light and strong.
- Low-drag profile: the design, angle of attack and profile reduce induced drag to gain efficiency and glide.
Jam HM Carbon on the water
Which one to choose?
- Jam (current version): aspect ratio 10, Dynamic Structural Design and TITAN 2 connection.
- Seven Seas: more versatile for wing and downwind, less specialised in pumping.
Pair it with: the Monobloc Tail stabiliser in its XXS 200 Pumping version. If you're unsure which mast or mast foot your connection needs, ask us before buying.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference from the current Jam?+
The current version debuts the TITAN 2 connection and Dynamic Structural Design, and F-ONE publishes its full data. This is the previous generation, in HM carbon.
Which size should I choose?+
The 1600 is the most versatile; the 1400 suits experienced or lighter riders and the 1900 heavier riders or pumping on flat water.
Which mast do I need?+
One compatible with this generation's connection. Write to us with the mast you have and we'll confirm compatibility.
