Description
Take off earlier on any bump
Redesigned in 2025 by brothers Finn and Jeffrey Spencer, the Downwinder SLS accelerates better and releases from the water sooner. It is two inches longer and half an inch narrower than the previous version: efficient glide and quick acceleration with compact dimensions and plenty of stability, ideal for downwinding in small, steep bumps and for wing foiling in light wind.
3 sizes: 95, 115 and 135 L · SLS carbon sandwich · Long carbon rails · Downwind · light-wind winging
Who it's for
- Riders learning or progressing in paddle downwinding.
- Wing foilers who want to fly in very light wind.
- Advanced riders looking for a stable board for small bumps.
What makes it special
01 Dimensions
Optimal dimensions for downwinding in small bumps and for first flights winging in very light wind.
02 Light
Less weight thanks to the new carbon boxes, fewer graphics and the SLS construction.
03 Stability
The volume distribution and rails give plenty of stability for paddling up and getting going in very light wind.
Where it shines: downwinding in small, steep bumps, and wing foiling in light wind.

Technology and construction
- Bottom: clean contours with a single concave entry so touchdowns don't kill your flight and to control take-off.
- Deck: slightly recessed for a more direct connection to the foil: more response, control and manoeuvrability.
- Long carbon rails: lighter, longer carbon foil boxes: less weight and more adjustment.
- Outline and rocker: low bottom rocker and a sleek pointed tail to take off as early as possible and glide to the max.
- Rails: pronounced bevels with sharp edges in the rear half to release from the water and gain stability.
- Lightweight construction: custom carbon sandwich: minimum weight, maximum efficiency and performance.
