Description
Inflatable downwind without giving up glide
The Downwinder Air has an elongated pin tail to glide, accelerate and take off efficiently. It weighs less than a Sky Air, almost as little as its rigid sisters, so it is easy to paddle up onto the foil in downwind and very efficient for wing foiling in light wind. The carbon plate and Fusion technology make it so stiff that it barely flexes.
3 sizes: 105, 115 and 125 L · Fusion technology · Carbon plate with 2 US tracks · Backpack and pump included

“The Downwinder Air is an excellent alternative to our composite models. For open-ocean downwinders, to liven up light-wind wing sessions or simply to paddle on a lake on windless days, it is very versatile and guarantees fun.”
Technology and construction
- Pin tail: to glide and accelerate.
- Fusion technology: drop-stitch fabric laminated with a single layer of base fabric sealed with liquid PVC: fewer layers and less weight than traditional drop stitch, a smoother finish and a stiffer, tougher board even at lower pressure.
- Outline: low rocker, narrow width and an elongated outline for maximum glide.
- Welded rails: the top and bottom layers are joined by heat welding, with no glue on the rails: no leaks and maximum strength.
- Backpack: compact, lightweight backpack.
- Pump: Multi pump for board and wing.
