The Ultra Grip is Duotone's quad wave board, focused on groundswell and European wind-driven waves (it is not designed for offshore wind). Its secret: it is completely flat underfoot in every direction, which makes it very stable and easy, while in front of and behind the foot area it has more outline and rail curve than other boards, for radical turns. This version is made in Full Custom PVC-Wood, Duotone's most affordable fully custom construction, with a quad fin set.

Which volume should I choose?+
Duotone does not publish a rider weight range for this model: go by your weight, your level and the wind you usually get. If you are torn between two sizes, write to us with your weight, your level and your spot.
Tri or quad?+
The Grip (Tri) focuses on European waves and groundswell; the Ultra Grip (Quad) gives more grip and turning in groundswell and wind-driven waves, but Duotone does not recommend it for offshore wind.
