NEW WEBTECH MATERIAL IN THE LOAD FRAME
The Airush R&D team has decided to use the new Webtech material for the Union V6. This material is key to the kite's new design and also affects its weight. Webtech is located in the kite's load frame, replacing Dacron. Thanks to replacing Dacron with the new tough Webtech material, the Airush Union V6 is much lighter and at the same time much stronger and more durable. It uses ballistic high-modulus polyethylene fibres that enhance the qualities mentioned above.
TECHNOFORCE D2 FABRIC
It is made of a premium high-density fabric, which makes the cloth and its whole structure much more resistant to the sun's ultraviolet rays and the wear they cause. This material is also used in the load frame of the Airush One.
COMPOSITE CANOPY WITH INTEGRATED HIGH-MODULUS POLYETHYLENE YARNS
Imagine a kite whose canopy cloth is perfectly interwoven like a spider's web: that is what the Airush Union V6 features, a canopy whose cloth is made of light polyethylene yarns, each of which can withstand 40 kg. In other words, a “bulletproof” kite.
SPS AND FBI
And there's more: another new element on the Lithium V13 is the Single Point Inflation System (SPS), which optimises inflating and deflating the kite. The tube has a thicker wall (which means less kinking) and the tube is therefore much wider; this feature is called Fast Bladder Inflation (FBI). All this means the Airush Lithium V13 inflates and deflates faster than the rest.
V3.2 BRIDLE SYSTEM
The Airush Union V6 is able to hold its direction even when it has almost no power. Why is that? Because it has a V3.2 bridle system that gives the kite a wider wind range. This bridle system also increases safety in kitesurfing.
The bridle attachment points are on the kite's LE (leading edge), and the V pulleys combine with them, resulting in more direct steering so you can feel your kite's position during your session.
AIRUSH BUMPERS
Let's start by defining what a kite's bumpers are. They protect the part of the kite most exposed to the wind and to any knocks it may take.
The bumpers on the Airush Union V6 run along the entire leading edge. This increases the durability of this kite even further. Bumpers are a key element in extending the lifespan of kites.
BAR PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT
This option is available on the new Airush Union V6; remember that larger kites have more adjustment options than smaller ones.
FULLY OPEN C FRAME
As you can see in the image, the frame of the Airush Union V6 is C-shaped.
