If you have made it this far, it's because you already know, or have heard of, the kite brand Airush. Before getting into all the features of the Airush Lithium V13, we strongly recommend reading up on this brand's other kites, as we did previously in our Airush One V2 analysis and our Airush Lift V2 review.
What does the new Airush Lithium V13 kite offer?
Unlike the Lift V2, the Lithium V13 is purely for freeride, whereas the former is a bit more versatile, suitable for both freeride and big air. But remember that only with the Lithium will you get 100% performance for freeriding.
- A kite that gives 100% of its performance for freeride
- Precise and stable steering. Wherever you look, the kite goes!
- Wide wind range.
- 3-strut design
If pure freeride is your thing, this is the Airush model you need to choose. The Airush kite par excellence for freeride lovers. The new Airush Lithium V13 is lighter than its predecessor and therefore easier to handle.
Key features of the Airush Lithium V13
• Instant relaunch
• Lighter bar pressure
• New construction
• Wide wind range
If you are not familiar with the terms wind window, wind range and relaunch, take a look at our post where we talked about what the wind window is.

Lithium V13 specifications
Here we explain all the sizes of the Airush Lithium V13, as well as the weight of each available size, the corresponding wind range for each size and the bar length in centimetres.

TECHNOFORCE D2 CANOPY

This premium fabric (Technoforce D2) is designed with a high-density structure using high-tenacity double-ply polyester yarn in a double ripstop configuration. The double coating protects the yarn from UV rays (the main cause of wear in kites) and abrasion damage, ensuring the canopy stays crisp for as long as possible.
This exceptional material is used together with the Airush load frame, resulting in the best combination of durability and performance.
AIRUSH BUMPERS

Let's start by defining what a kite's bumpers are. They protect the part of the kite most exposed to the wind and to any knocks it may take.
The bumpers on the Airush Lithium V13 run along the entire leading edge. This increases the durability of this kite even further. Bumpers are a key element in extending the lifespan of kites.
ROUND WINGTIP

BAR PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT

This option is available on the new Airush Lithium V13; remember that larger kites have more adjustment options than smaller ones.
PULLEY BRIDLE SYSTEM

The Airush Lithium V13 is able to hold its direction even when it has almost no power. Why is that? Because it has a V3.2 bridle system that gives the kite a wider wind range. This bridle system also increases safety in kitesurfing.
The bridle attachment points are on the kite's LE (leading edge), and the V pulleys combine with them, resulting in more direct steering so you can feel your kite's position during your session.
SPS AND FBI

And there's more: another new element on the Lithium V13 is the Single Point Inflation System (SPS), which optimises inflating and deflating the kite. The tube has a thicker wall (which means less kinking) and the tube is therefore much wider; this feature is called Fast Bladder Inflation (FBI). All this means the Airush Lithium V13 inflates and deflates faster than the rest.
KEVLAR REINFORCEMENT

Kevlar is a material we can see in bulletproof vests. Can you guess where else we find it? That's right: Kevlar is present in all Airush kites. This material is only placed in the most critical areas to protect them from wear while minimising the weight that affects kite performance.
