High-modulus lightness
Designed to minimise drag with the best stiffness-torsion-weight ratio in the range, the Piuma mast combines unidirectional, plain-weave and multiaxial high-modulus carbon fibre of different weights with a light inner core. That stiffness, together with a specific speed profile, ensures excellent hydrodynamic performance. It features titanium components, including the bushings and the quick release system module. High-modulus carbon parts are very stiff but also fragile on impact: the Piuma series is not suitable for big jumps or freestyle, and that use is neither permitted nor covered by the warranty.

Frequently asked questions
Which fuselages is it compatible with?+
With the Sabfoil R8-connection fuselages of the Kraken Modular System (603, 653, 663, 703, 713, 753, 903 and 1003).
Can I jump with it?+
No. Sabfoil states that this series is not suitable for big jumps or freestyle.
Which mast height should I choose?+
Short masts are easier for learning and for shallow water; long masts give more margin in waves and chop and allow more speed.
