Description

BIG AIR · FREERIDE

North's most popular Big Air and freeride twintip

Designed for explosive boosts, loops and stable, predictable landings. Its balanced flex loads and releases with response, and its edge control delivers powerful upwind performance. It is the most balanced option in the Atmos family, with a flex that is kinder on the knees than the Atmos Pro.

Triaxial Hybrid Carbon · Sizes 134 – 141 · Riders 45 – 120 kg · Medium flex

North Atmos TT Board 2027
WHO IT'S FOR

Who it's for

  • Intermediate to advanced riders who want to progress in jumping and Big Air.
  • Those looking for carbon performance without the extreme stiffness of a full carbon board.
  • Strong-wind days, because it stays controlled even when you are overpowered, and marginal-wind days, thanks to its early planing.
KEY FEATURES

What makes it special

01 Balanced flex

It loads and releases with response and dynamism: quick take-offs and excellent pop, with a more forgiving flex than the Atmos Pro.

02 Precise edge control

Balanced rocker, outline and flex, with rail channels outside the double concave, for powerful upwind riding and Big Air boosts.

03 Soft landings

The double concave with a deep centre V breaks the water's surface tension and cushions the impact on landing.

04 Early planing

Progressive medium rocker and pulled-in tips: it gets going early and stays controlled when you are overpowered.

05 Carves with grip

The medium-high curve outline makes turning easier and keeps optimised grip at all times.

06 Integrated grab rail

A long rail structurally integrated into the deck for easy board-offs.

CONCEPT

Hybrid carbon to jump higher and tire less

The Triaxial Hybrid Carbon construction with 3DY reinforcements increases the board's overall and torsional stiffness while being more forgiving on the knees. Combined with the medium rocker, it gives early planing, quick response and excellent pop.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology and construction

  • Triaxial Hybrid Carbon: fibres at 0 and ±45° with 3DY carbon; it improves overall and torsional stiffness and is more forgiving on the knees.
  • 3DY-Beam: North's exclusive unidirectional carbon tape placed along the load lines, transferring force from the bindings to the rail.
  • Double concave to deep centre V: with rail channels and four-channel tips that direct water towards the fins.
  • Progressive medium rocker (40–45 mm): with pulled-in tips, progressive outline and medium-high curve.
  • FlipTech Mounting System: central inserts: if you wear down one rail, you turn the bindings round and get a fresh heelside rail.
  • ABS rail: durable, with a rounded edge.
  • Paulownia core: with triaxial fibreglass laminate and standard M6 stainless steel hardware.
COMPARE

Which one to choose?

  • Atmos Pro: same shape and rocker with Pro Carbon construction and medium-stiff flex: stiffer and more reactive, for aggressive riders and very strong wind.
  • Astra: sizes from 127 to 139 cm and a stance 20 mm narrower, for lighter riders.
  • Atmos Ultra: very light and lively, although it is not designed for the hardest landings.

Pair it with: Flex bindings or Flex Pro, the ones North recommends for the Atmos.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

What size Atmos do I need?+

As a reference: 134 for 45–70 kg, 136 for 55–80 kg, 138 for 65–90 kg and 141 for 75–120 kg. At 80 kg the 138 usually works well.

What is the difference between the Atmos and the Atmos Pro?+

They share shape and rocker, but the construction changes. The Atmos is hybrid carbon with a medium flex, more forgiving and comfortable on landings; the Atmos Pro is Pro Carbon with a medium-stiff flex, stiffer and more reactive.

What changes in the Atmos 2027?+

It keeps the construction and shape, debuts the Flash Blue colour and refreshes the size range: the 134 is added and the 144 is discontinued.

Is it suitable if I'm just starting to jump?+

Yes. It is one of North's easiest Big Air boards to ride, thanks to its medium flex and early planing. For your very first runs, a softer beginner board is a better choice.

What's included?+

The board comes with the accessory kit: ergonomic TPE handle and 40 mm composite fins. Bindings are sold separately.
