Official ION size chart. Measure your waist at the height where you'll wear the harness, ideally with your wetsuit on. If you are between two sizes, the smaller one holds better and rides up less; the larger one leaves room for thick wetsuits. Check the selector for the sizes available in store. You'll find more tips in our harness size guide.
Frequently asked questions
Does it come with a spreader bar?
Yes. ION supplies it as a complete set: spreader bar with hook, safety knife and handle for the safety leash. You don't have to buy the bar separately.
Can it be converted into a seat harness?
Yes. The ION Seatpart leg straps (sold separately) clip onto the bottom of the harness and turn it into a seat harness, ideal for your first sessions.
Axxis or Rival?
The Axxis is the simplest and most affordable. The ION Rival 2026 adds the Spectre Bar 2, HD_Foam and Spectre flaps for more stability.
