The ION Vector Vest Core Front Zip is ION's entry-level kitesurf impact vest. The padding is placed to leave freedom of movement even with a harness, and it protects front and back with ION's standard outer lining, flexible and tough.

Frequently asked questions
Is it a life jacket?
No. It's an impact vest: it protects your torso from impacts against the water. ION doesn't certify it as a buoyancy aid, so it's not a substitute for a life jacket.
Which size should I choose?
Go mainly by the chest circumference in the chart. The vest should fit snugly, with no slack, but still let you breathe and rotate your upper body comfortably.
Can it be used with a harness?
Yes. The padding is designed to leave room for the harness and keep your freedom of movement.
