Frequently asked questions
What does 3/2 mean?
It is the neoprene thickness in millimetres: 3 mm on the torso, where retaining heat matters most, and 2 mm on the arms and legs, so you can move more freely.
What water temperature is it designed for?
ION rates it for mild water, from 14 to 22 °C. How it feels also depends on the wind, how long you spend in the water and how much you feel the cold.
What is the advantage of the back zip?
It is the most convenient system for putting the wetsuit on and taking it off, ideal if you want simplicity or are just starting out.
What does Overknee mean?
That the legs come down to knee height: more freedom for your legs and slightly less warmth than a full wetsuit.
