ION Ballistic Shoes 2.5 Internal Split

The ION Ballistic Shoes 2.5 Internal Split are low-cut 2.5 mm neoprene booties with an internal big-toe split, from ION's premium footwear line, for milder conditions. They feature a Pull_Loop, an adjustment cord and Max_Flex on the outside; they protect you from stones and shells without losing board control, and their aramid sole stands up to rocks and reefs.

• Pull_Loop: pull tab for putting the bootie on and taking it off easily, without hurting yourself even if your hands are freezing.

• Internal_Split: internal big-toe split that improves board feel.
• Max_Flex: ION's stretchiest outer lining; it also doesn't absorb water, but spreads it through small channels so it evaporates and dries faster.
• GBS seams (glued and blind stitched): more durable and resistant than Flat_Lock seams; their main job is to stop water getting in.

Which size to choose

What's the difference between Round Toe, Internal Split and External Split?

Round Toe has a rounded toe box, with all the toes together. Internal Split separates the big toe on the inside while keeping the round shape on the outside. External Split separates the big toe on the outside too, like split-toe footwear.

Yes, the aramid sole is very tough and lets you step on sharp rocks and reefs without fear.
