Description

The F-ONE Trax HRD Lite Tech is a smooth, forgiving freeride twintip designed for all levels: from beginners to expert riders. Its HRD (Helical Rail Design) helical edge eliminates slamming on the water and makes it very comfortable in any sea state, and it comes as standard with four 50 mm Unibox fins.

Who it's for

  • Beginners looking for an easy, comfortable and forgiving board.
  • Freeride riders who want good upwind ability, pop and soft landings.
  • Anyone who rides everything from flat water to very choppy water with the same board.

Features

  • HRD (Helical Rail Design): 3D-moulded edge in three sections. Thin in the centre for grip and upwind ability, inverted and curved under the feet like a surfboard for smooth carving, and narrow again at the tips for excellent pop.
  • Tuned flex: designed to give optimum pop when leaving the water, with extra flex in the tips to help you take off.
  • Stepped hull: combines a classic single concave with a full channel for a firm yet smooth ride, instant planing and great upwind ability.
  • Wide outline and channelled base: they soften landings so you always stay in control.
  • Lite Tech: F-ONE-exclusive technology, patented by Rossignol Snowboards, that integrates a TPU element which lets light through and draws two transparent lines in the centre of the board.
  • 50 mm Unibox fins: four as standard, with a thinner profile for more speed and better planing.

Which size to choose

F-ONE makes the Trax HRD Lite Tech in 135 x 39 cm, 136 x 40.5 cm, 137 x 42 cm and 140 x 45 cm. Check the selector for the sizes available in store. As a general rule, the larger sizes plane earlier in light wind and suit heavier riders, while the smaller ones are more agile in strong wind.

Frequently asked questions

Is it a good board to start with?

Yes. F-ONE presents it as an excellent choice for beginners, experts and all levels thanks to its smooth, forgiving and comfortable ride in any conditions.

Can I change the fins?

Yes, it takes 50 mm Unibox fins. If you lose one, we have the F-ONE Unibox 50 mm Slate and the screw set for Unibox.

Which bindings should I fit?

Bindings with a handle such as the F-ONE Platinium 3 Bindings + Handle are the natural combination.
