Description
F-ONE push-away quick release: the bar's main safety system, which depowers the kite when you push the red handle forward. It is designed to work in the most critical situations and can be activated with the lines under tension or slack.
Features
- Ergonomic handle: easy to grab, with a soft tab on top for better grip.
- Push to release: when you slide the handle away from you, it releases and stays locked in that position.
- Two-handed reset: place the loop in the gate, lift the handle with one hand and push the locking gate with the thumb of the other while you let go of the handle.
Compatibility
- F-ONE bars in the Linx Bar range with a push-away quick release.
- For the ATOM (2026), the quick release is the Quick Release Click-In, a different reference.

Frequently asked questions
How often should I test it?
F-ONE recommends activating each quick release at least once before and after every session and rinsing it with fresh water while operating it, to flush out the sand.
Is it compatible with my harness?
F-ONE safety systems are compatible with most harnesses: open hook, rigid circular ring with an inner diameter of at least 24.5 mm, or a rope/webbing loop of suitable length.
