Born to flow

The KEAHI PRO SURF is the most surf-oriented version of the wave board F-ONE has developed with Keahi de Aboitiz. Ultralight and high-performance, it uses a surfboard-style construction adapted for kitesurfing and reinforced under the pad, so the feel on the wave is as close as possible to surfing.

Designed by Keahi de Aboitiz · Surfboard-style construction · Sizes 5'5, 5'7 and 5'9 · Pad with central arch and raised kick tail

WHO IT'S FOR

Who it's for

  • Wave riders who want the feel of a real surfboard with the kite.
  • Anyone looking for maximum manoeuvrability and control in critical turns.
  • Advanced riders who look after their gear and prioritise feel over toughness.
KEY FEATURES

What makes it special

01 High-performance surf shape

Elongated nose and a fairly wide squash tail, with a 100% surf-style balance and the volume towards the back to give stability, glide and manoeuvrability.

02 Smooth and intuitive in critical turns

The sharp rails and pointed nose grip the wave face and allow fast, aggressive turns in hollow sections.

03 Exceptional traction and control

Tuned rocker and hull designed to build speed and drive and link manoeuvres with flow and total control.

04 Versatile in any wave

It performs in big or small waves, in onshore or cross-shore wind, and gets through the break easily to get back to the peak.

05 Ultralight surfboard construction

A typical surfboard construction adapted for kitesurfing and reinforced under the pad for extra durability without losing the surf feel.

Where it shines: all kinds of waves; where it really stands out is in tight turns, turns off the lip and long carves in powerful waves.

TECHNOLOGY

  • Surfboard-style construction: ultralight and surf-inspired, adapted to the loads of kitesurfing.
  • Reinforcement under the pad: more durability right where you place your feet, without changing the surfboard character.
  • Pad with central arch and raised kick tail: the pad includes a central arch and a raised kick at the tail for maximum grip and connection with the board.
  • Front Arch Bar: a raised area under the front foot that helps position your foot and gives direct grip.
  • Sharp rails and pointed nose: more grip on the wave face and shorter, more aggressive turns.

COMPARE

Which one to choose?

  • Keahi Pro: same shape and dimensions with a reinforced HD Foam Flex construction and a heel shock absorber; tougher for daily use and strapless riding.
  • Mitu Pro: a 50/50 board between waves and strapless freestyle; better if, as well as surfing, you want to jump without straps.
  • Magnet Carbon: a thin, light board dedicated to strapless freestyle.

Pair it with: a wave kite such as the Addikt TEC or the Bandit Brainchild, the Atom Bar and some Surf Straps if you want to ride with straps.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

How does it differ from the Keahi Pro?+

They share the same shape, dimensions and volumes. The Pro Surf has a surfboard-style construction, reinforced under the pad, for a purer surf feel; the Keahi Pro uses an HD Foam Flex construction designed more to withstand intensive kite use.

Which size should I choose?+

The 5'5 is the most manoeuvrable and the 5'9 offers the most volume and support, useful for heavier riders or marginal-wind days. If in doubt, write to us with your weight and your usual waves.

Does it need special care?+

As it has a surfboard construction, it is best to treat it like one: avoid knocks on the deck outside the pad area and check the rails. You will find tips in our kiteboard maintenance guide.

What waves is it designed for?+

For all kinds of waves, big or small and in onshore or cross-shore wind.
