Description

The Duotone Gold.90 is a high-end mast with 90 % T800 carbon and latest-generation prepreg construction. Apart from its slightly lower carbon content, it is technologically identical to the PLATINUM: very light, with excellent dynamics and a balanced bend curve that suits all types of sails, and surprisingly durable.

Who it's for

  • Windsurfers looking for a high-end mast that's more affordable than the PLATINUM.
  • Wave, freestyle or freeride riders who want lightness and responsiveness.
  • Anyone who wants a durable mast with an unconditional warranty.

Features

  • 90 % carbon.
  • T800 carbon.
  • SENTEX® resin.
  • Natural white polyamide outer protection: on the SDM models.
  • Padded mast bag included.
  • 2-year unconditional warranty: if you register the product on the Duotone website, even covering breakages.

Compatibility

  • Sails that call for a constant-stiffness (IMCS) mast in the length and diameter given in the chart, from Duotone or other brands.
  • RDM extensions and booms with the RDM models; SDM with the SDM models (or with an RDM adapter).

Frequently asked questions

What is IMCS?

It's the mast stiffness index (Indexed Mast Check System). Your sail's chart tells you the length, type (RDM or SDM) and stiffness it needs.

RDM or SDM?

RDM has a reduced diameter, easier to grip and more responsive; SDM is the standard diameter. Use the one your sail recommends and pair it with an extension and boom of the same type (or with an adapter).

How does it differ from the PLATINUM?

The PLATINUM has 100 % carbon and is slightly lighter; the Gold.90 has 90 % and is the more affordable version with the same technology. Take a look at the Platinum Series SLS.
