The Duotone Insert Pad connects your straps to the board: they are pad pieces with built-in inserts that stick directly onto the board, so you can fit straps whenever you want and customise your setup.

Compatibility
Only compatible with Duotone surf pads and boards from the 2025 season (SS25) onwards. The boards come with a cut-out in the rear pad for sticking on the Insert Pad, and the front pads come pre-cut so you can stick it on if you don’t fit that pad piece. If you remove it later, you can fill the gap with the SLS replacement piece or the D/LAB replacement piece.

What do I need to fit straps?
The Insert Pad and some straps, for example the Duotone Surfstrap. The Insert Pad already includes washers and M6 × 20 screws.
Does it work with boards from before 2025?
No: Duotone specifies it only for pads and boards from the 2025 season onwards.
